We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Data Engineer for a Contract to Hire remote position. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and support a wide variety of data-focused applications within both on-premise SQL Servers and the Azure platform. Requirements

· 5 - 8 years of SQL database development

· Experience developing large databases with custom database applications

· Experience with ETL frameworks and tools

· Experience developing RESTful API services

· Experience developing Angular Single Page Applications

· Advanced level experience with Java and Python or Scala.

· Experience with data analytics desired

· Experience on the Azure platform reauired

· Experience with Power BI desired

· Ability to quickly understand complicated systems

· Ability to work in fast paced environment (a must)

· Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills

· A self-starter and able to work on projects as part of a team or independently

· Comfortable communicating in a team environment and able to communicate effectively with all levels from users to management

· Excellent written communications skills for writing technical specifications involving architecture, database design, and ETL workflow
